COURSE DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this course is to train aircraft license holders up to the level of proficiency in FCL.920 and appropriate to the CRI.

It must enable the student to develop the necessary instructional techniques required for a class rating or type of non-complex and non-high-performance single-pilot aircraft.

If you are looking for a job in a flight school to build flight time as a Flight Instructor this course is for you.

COURSE STRUCTURE
  • 25 hours of instruction
  • 10 hours of technical training
  • Review of technical knowledge
  • Preparation of lesson plans
  • Development of pedagogical activities in the classroom/simulator
  • 25 hours of teaching and learning instruction
DURATION

The approximate duration of the course is 9 weeks, allowing the student to complete the ground school and flight training simultaneously. The course schedule will be established based on at least 3 students enrolled per course.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must comply with the following:

For multi-engine aircraft

  • 500 flight hours as an aircraft pilot
  • 30 hours as pilot-in-command in the applicable class or type

For single-engine aircraft:

  • 300 flight hours as an aircraft pilot
  • 30 hours as pilot-in-command in the applicable class or type
