Learn to fly and be proficient under IFR

The Instrument Rating course objective is to achieve the learning requisites of ground school and flight instruction, expertise, and experience required in order to obtain the Instrument class rating in a single-engine aircraft type (IR), or a single-engine aircraft type (IR/SE).

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The purpose of this course is to provide the aspiring pilot with the necessary knowledge, both theoretical and in flight, that will enable him to obtain the instrument flight rating, which consists of carrying out low flights, under IFR in the en-route phase with a single-engine aircraft for which it is possessed of a class or type rating.

Flying safely under Instrumental Flight Rules, during bad weather or night operations, is an essential skill that every professional pilot must demonstrate to be able to fly in a highly coordinated system.

COURSE STRUCTURE

Theoretical instruction will be given for 11 weeks, with a maximum of 80 hours.

  • Flight Planning and Monitored Flight
  • Human factors
  • Meteorology
  • Radio Navigation
  • IFR communications

Total flight instruction time will be 15 hours.
