The course’s goal is to achieve the support and legal permission to carry out an instrument approach procedure: LNAV, LP, LNAV/VNAN, LPV… for pilots whom own the instrumental flight entitlement and/or students currently coursing the ATPL-A course or those obtaining Instrumental flight entitlement.
The theoretical Phase lasts a minimum of 8 hours in which the student will be prepared to achieve the theoretical knowledge about Performance Based Navigation (PBN). This theoretical course course will be taught as long as there are at least 2 students minimum per class.
The Flying phase lasts a minimum of 2 h and 30 minutes of practical instruction of the FNTPII Simulator, performing at least 5 PBN approaches including all types of PBN approaches: LNAV, LP, LNAV/VNAV, LPV.
The duration of the theoretical phase is 8 hours and the Flying phase is 2h and 30 minutes.
